About Vandenberg

A newly sunk troop vessel which was intentionally sunk in May 2009 to form an artificial reef. This is an excellent wreck and promises to provide a brilliant dive, especially in the near future as marine life inhabiting the wreck increases. The sinking process was a great success and she now lies upright. The wreck offers great opportunities for penetration and much of the equipment remains intact in the wreckage.
