About Pelham Wreck

The Pelham was a Steamer sailing under the command of Captain Christen Erikson Greager. She met her fate on August 9, 1886, when she ran ashore and became a total wreck. This was a result of misjudge and Pilot error as the master never had any exemption certificate and has only been to Bluff once before. She is now completely coral enveloped and home to a wide variety of marine life. A true wreck divers delight !
