About Nambucca Wreck

This wreck was named after the Nambucca Rock, which so happens to be the location of this site. The Nambucca was a Australian Wooden Hulled Screw Steamer. She sank on January 16, 1905 after hitting a reef structure on Toms Rock while enroute to Wellington from Blenheim. Its a shallow wreck dive. Abundant marine life surround her today.
