About Konini Wreck

The Konini was a steel hulled screw Steamer sailing under the command of Captain S. Vint. She sank on December 22, 1924, during heavy rain, darkness and rough seas when when she struck a set of surfacing rocks, ripping a gash in her hull. This was her maiden voyage ! She can now be found in 18 meters of water surrounded by coral and marine life in abundance.
