About Mimpang

Mimpang (also known as Batu Tiga) consists of a series of four big rocks and around half a dozen smaller rocks. These rocks follow an underwater ridge, running north to northeast. The southern end of Mimpand drops steeply into seep water, but the north is shallow. The diverse topography of Mimpang includes a wall, a sloping reef, and craggy rocks, covered in hard and soft corals as well as gorgonians. The southern end is also very rich. The fish life of Mimpang is wonderful and includes small reef fish, schooling fish, and many sharks (this is one of the best spots for seeing sharks in Bali). The current can limit you to diving either the east or the west end of the point.
