About Jibacoa & Sparta

This scuba dive consists of two interesting wrecks one a military vessel and the other one a cargo vessel which lie in shallow waters.The names of these wrecks are the Sparta and Jibacoa.Both of these vessels were sunk in the 1970s intentionally to be used as military target practice. One can not penetrate these wrecks but they provide a very exciting dive none the less.The area around these wrecks are rich in marine life and barracuda, grunts and butterfly fish are a few of the fish you will come across while diving here.This dive is located quite far out and one is often required to pay a small extra fee for diving this wreck
