The Konanda Wreck is located several meters from shore and is easily accessible from one of the many easy entry points along this clean sandy beach. The Konanda was a old Island Trader Vessel that was intentionally sank in 1987 as part of a artificial reef program. Today she rests in a sandy bottom with her rigging extending to 10 meters below the surface. Penetration is allowed. Explore the interesting terrain around her and watch the beautiful array of marine and coral life.
