About Waialua Wall

East of Devils Rock is Waialua Wall, a three-mile long drop off. The vertical height of this site varies from 10 to 80 feet and one can view many colorful Hawaiian corals when diving here. The rock shelves in the shallows are covered with octocorals. Crevices and caves break into the wall from about 30 to 70 feet. One usually sees shells, lobsters, and turtles at this site. The bottom consists largely of coral rubble in between boulders and is home to large schools of goatfish and ta'ape.
