About USS San Diego Wreck

Also known as The California Wreck. This was the name she was originally launched under. She served in Theodore Roosevelts Fleet Called, The Great White Fleet.She sank July 8, 1918 when she steered into german floating landmines, which ripped holes in her hull. She sank along with several of her crew members. Today she rests in deep water with many interesting things to see and explore.
