About Thomas Hayward Liberty Ship Wreck

The Thomas Hayward, a 80 meter Liberty Ship, was built in Alabama by the Alabama Dry Dock Co. in 1942 and served in the Mobile Reserve Fleet. In 1977 she was purchased and sunk a sa artificial reef in Florida. Today she's home to various marine life and healthy coral growth envelopes her.
