Tamaulipas

When the Tamaulipas (also known as the '�Far East Tanker'�) sank she broke into two separate pieces which settled a short, but not swimmable, distance from each other. The ship seems to have split in two around the bridge/wheelhouse area but this section has not been found. The bow is intact but upside down so it is much less visited than the stern. The stern half has an intact deck section (135 to 145 feet) that is reasonably high and sits on her keel. The deck section drops off to the engine and boilers and then climbs back up to the stern which rests on its starboard side. The stern section is easy to navigate as it is contiguous.
