About SS Andrea Doria Wreck

The Andria Doria was Genoan Registered Ocean Liner. She was a icon of Italian National Pride. July 25, 1956, bound for New York, she collided with The MS Stockholm during bad weather and heavy fog. The MS Stockholm was a Swedish Liner. This incident became one of the most famous maritime disasters. As the Andrea Doria had a huge gaping hole in her starboard side, she began taking on water and almost immediatly she started tipping. Here you will find many interesting artifacts. A great wreck to explore. Due to depht, its only suitable for advanced divers.
