the Pinthis was a Steel Hulled Coastal Tanker and built in New York in 1919. She collided with The Fairfax on June 10, 1930 and sank. The Fairfax was a passenger liner. She split the Pinthis easily and caused it to catch fire at the same time. her crew went down with her. today her wreck is still fairly intact and hosts a wide variety of marine life. Excellent bottom topography. Dye to the depth, this site is recommended for advanced level divers only.
