About Nukumoi Point

This site os also known as Tortugas. Facilities include restrooms, showers, picnic areas and lifeguards are available. It is a good shallow dive for beginning through advances divers. Snorkelling here is excellent. The sandbar is called Nukumoi Point. It is quite unique since ocean currents rush to the beach from opposite directions forming tombola by sand deposition. The sandbar is visible at low tide. The ocean bottom slopes gently to overhead depths on either side of it. To the west of the tombola a small reef that runs along the length of Nukumoi point.
