About John Morgan

John Morgan features the wreck of a 7176-ton Liberty ship that sunk on its maiden voyage on the 1st of June 1943 in about 100 feet of water. The John Morgan collided with the SS Montana while carrying trucks, P-39 airplanes, motorcycles, Valentine tanks and an assorted arsenal of weapons. A very interesting dive site off the Virginia Coast.
