About Hawkinsville Wreck

This was a old Paddle Steamer that was constructed in 1886. It was used to transport cargo and lumber along the Suwannee River. In 1922 the Hawkensville was found in the middle of the river, abandoned by the crew. This wreck was added to the Florida Underwater Archaeological Preserve in 1992. What a great dive.
