The African Quuen was a Liberian Registered Oil Tanker. In December 1958 the African Queen was enroute from New Jersel to Philidelphia when she ran into a storm, which send her steering into Gull Shoals. All her crew were rescued by Coast Gaurd Helicopters. Today she remains a beautiful wreck dive with abundance in marine life and corals.
