This 138 meter long vessel was first launched in August 1905,during July 1916 she was aquired as a hospital ship for some 380 odd patients which were serving at the time.On new years day 1918 she was decommissioned and was very close being being sunk during February the same year when it was attacked by 2 torpedoes which the captain managed to evade.In 1929 she was rebuilt as a cargo vessel.On the 15 March 1934 she ran aground on Cardigan Island,she now lies scattered in parts at a depth of about 15 meters
