The SS Viking was a wooden hulled Steamer that was built in Norway n 1881. She got her name from the 1931 hit movie called, 'The Viking' in which she was used as a Sealing Vessel. She sank on March 15, 1931 after an explosion blew her entire stern away. She took fire and sank shortly after, taking with her, several crew members as well as the producer of the movie, 'The Viking' A very interesting dive. Ths wreck lies right next to the SS Bothal.
