About HMS Carantan Wreck

The HMS Carantan was a French Submarine Chaser. After the Fall of France in 1940, the HMS Carantan was seized by the British Government and used as a support vessel to a British Submarine. She sank December 21, 1943 after capsizing and taking on water. Today she rests iin deep water, surrounded by a slate and rock bed. Abundant marine life and excellent display of coral formations.
