The Bella Vista was a Panamian Registered Steamship. She sank in July 1948 after steering into Papa Westray. At the time of her fatal incident, she was busy ransporting coal. Today she rests in shallow waters and is well broken up. Home to beautiful coral growth and abundant marine life.
