About MV Glenorchy

MV Glenorchy is a wreck site situated in the Med just off of the coast of Tunisia in North Africa. At 47 long, the Glenorchy is 36 to 54m is upright and well preserved. It was sent to the bottom after taking 2 hits to the engine room from an Italian torpedo boat in august 1942. 6 crew members died along with the Captain that would not abandon ship. The rest became POW's before escaping from a Tunisian camp and reach the Atlas mountains and freedom.
