About Jura wreck

Reached by boat, this 46 meter long wooden passenger steamer was built in 1854 and sank in 1865 when she collided with a Swiss ship and ended up sinking near Bottighofen. She now lies at a depth of 36 meters in some cold waters. She was in far better condition a few decades ago but careless divers have caused visible damage to the wreck and much of what used to be there just 20 years ago has gone, hence the wreck is now protected and penetration is strictly forbidden
