About SS Gutrune Wreck

The SS Gutrune was a large German Freighter, operated by the Hamburg-Südamerikanische Dampfschiffahrts-Gesellschaft. She was stopped by a E 19 English Submarine for inspection in October 1915. The Submarine commander then ordered the crew to abandone and her valves were opened. She sank shortly after. Today, resting in deep waters and mostly broken up, she remains a beautiful wreck dive. Lots of corals and marine life to see.
