About The Dolfijn Wreck

Situated in Galle Harbour you will find the wreck of The Dolfijn. Dolfijn is Dutch for Dolphin, thus making this wreck a VOC Dutch vessel. She was believed to have sunk to her final resting place somewhere in 1663 and is toady part of the Maritime Archeological Program. A very historic wreck dive with lots to see and explore. She can be found in a depth of 8 meters, surrounded by a large array of marine life and covered in beautiful coral formations. Suitable for all level divers.
