The wreck of the Lusitania is situated on the eastern side of Bellows Rock which breaks approximately 4km off Cape Point. The closest launch site is Miller's Point. This is a deep dive with a strong surge near the surface, and only suitable for very experienced divers. The wreck lies in a very exposed area and is only diveable when the conditions are perfect. The Portuguese twin-screw passenger liner, sank in 1911 after it hit Bellows Rock during a storm. There are lots to see and a variety of invertebrates and large fish occur in the area.
