The wreck of the Schuilenberg is situated 30-50m off Clifton's Second Beach. This site can only be dived when the sea is very flat as the wreck site lies in the surf zone and the surge can be very strong. To find the site swim from the beach towards Cherry Rock, a small round rock about 20-30m out to sea. Behind this rock lies another flat rock and the wreck is situated directly behind the flat rock. The only visible parts of the wreck are three cast-iron cannons that are partly covered in sand. There is not much else to see, but fact that the wreck is so old makes it an interesting dive. This is also a suitable snorkelling site.
