The Nebo is a 19th century wooden steamer vessel which sank on the 20th May 1884 while on a trip to Durban from Sunderland, which was coincidently her first and last voyage. The remains of this 2000 ton vessel now lie at a depth of 25 meters, which much of the ship remaining at even shallower depths. The ship remains in decent condition for it's age, though the bow is quite damaged, the stern remains fairly intact. The ship was carrying railway girders when she sank, which allows for an interesting sight.
