Situated on the eastern side of Cape Point in the Cape Point Nature Reserve, this is a great site for snorkeling when the conditions are good. The area is secluded and sheltered from most of the prevailing winds except for the easterlies. To reach the site requires a 15-20 minute walk along a steep path leading from the cafe at Cape Point down to the rocks. There are a number of easy entry and exit points. Scuba gear is not necessary and not worth the effort of carting heavy gear down the steep path. Good shoes are a must!
