Brenton Island is situated within Algoa Bay and makes up a small cluster of Islands on the East bank of the Bay ie the larger St Croix Island, Jaheel and Brenton Islands. These are protected areas which once teamed with penguins and birdlife. Sadly, this is no more. Brenton Island is 800m off of St Croix and consists of gullies, caves and gorged wall drop offs. An eden of colourful sponges, ferns and corals a dive site known for ragged tooth shark spotting. The whales and dolphins aren't to bad either.(in season)
