A beautiful and historic dive this is. The Galleon refers to a old wooden hulled wreck also known as Nuestra Senora Dela Vida. In 1621 the Captain of this vessel was hung for dead after steering his vessel into Verde island. He sunk his vessel in just 5 meters of water. Today her remains can be found in a depth of 40 meters completely covered in corals and surrounded by a large array of marine life. Sadly this dive is recommended for advanced level divers only.
