About LST Landing Ship Tank

Also known as the LST 959. This landing ship tank was once used in the second world war to assist with amphibeous operations in the Philipines. This ship was decommisioned and sunk intentionally on 13 June 1946. Today her beautiful coral decorated remains can be found in a sandy bottom no deeper than 30 meters. She teems with marine life and provides all dovers with great photo opportunity.
