About Peleliu Corner

The strongest currents you may experience as a diver make this one of Palau's more edgy offerings. The currents converge here require great concentration to stay at the site, if you don't stay deep enough you may be carried on involuntarily over the reef to Peleliu Expressway, and then the ocean if you're not careful. Toward the south where the plateau drops off if you stay deep enough (15' 20') you can catch the current over the top to the Expressway. Location: The set of Peleliu Dives begins here, and follow the wall down to 90' where opposing currents can be a sign that you are nearing Peleliu Corner the point where Peleliu Cut and Peleliu Expressway merge. The largest schools of surgeonfish, snappers and jacks in the world can be seen here.
