About Ngemelis Wall

Not far from the mooring buoy is a chain connected to a steel sphere, this device was placed there to stop the Japanese from making it through the German channel in WWII. The Admiral who conducted the actual operation returned to Palau in 1986 and unveiled its use for the first time after forty years of enigma. The visibility here is a tide-dependant 50 to 100 feet Location: Southwest of Ngemelis Island. The protected reef is covered with flourishing coral where the cuttlefish can breed safely The Coral Garden is adorned with gigantic gorgonian sea fans and in the substrate leather coral is abundant.
