About Woollahra Wreck

The Woollahra was a English, 1875 built 942 ton Iron Hulled Vessel. She was enroute to Sydney on 17 July 1907 when she ran aground, and got completely smashed up. Most of the crew, including the Captain lost their lives in this incident. Today her remains can be found in shallow waters. Beautiful corals and abundant marine life envelopes her.
