About William Denny Wreck

The William Denny was a iron Steamer. March 1857 she was enroute to Sydney, Australia. She ran into heavy fog and ran aground near North Cape. Several vessels tried to pull the William Denny back into deeper waters, but failed. Today she is broken up and forms a beautiful artificial reef with abundant marine life and good coral growth.
