The Venezuela was a Argentinian Owned and registered vessel. In March 1918 she was enroute from Falmouth to Rouen as part of a Convoy when she was attacked and torpedoed by a German UB-59 Submarine. Today she rests in a sandy bottom at a depth of 27 meters where she is enveloped in a display of beautiful corals and surrounded by a large array of colorful marine life. Still intact and great for exploration divers.
