About Te Haumi Rock

As the name implies, this site is home to a beautiful coral enveloped, surfacing rock formation. This rock is however, exposed to the Easterly swell and currents may be unpredictable at times, thus intermediate to advanced level divers are allowed to dive here. Here you will find several steep sloping wall reefs with a great display of surrounding marine life.
