The Devon was a 3546 ton English, Steel Hulled Steamer. Today this is the largest wreck dive that Wellington has to offer. She sank in August 1913 after a severe gale and a pounding sea pushed her aground. She is fairly intacts, resting in shallow water, with large amounts of interesting debris surrounding her. Great coral and marine life.
