The Cyprus was a Wooden Hulled Three Masted Bark, built in Prince Edward Island in 1874. She met her fate after a very short career when she steered into rocks during a severe gale storm. She was enroute to Australia, carrying a cargo of ballast when she sank. She rests in shallow waters, teeming with marine life.
