About Tihany Wreck

The Tihany was a Austro Hungarian Double Masted Steamship that was built in 1908. She sank Februay 12, 1917 while carrying a cargo of coal and a Tank Wagon, due to bad visibility and heavy sea conditions, which forced her to run into Cape Arsa. Today she can be located by the entrance to The Bay of Kotor, resting in deep waters. Very interesting dive with lots of coral growth and an excellent display of marine life.
