About Restigouche

The ''Cadillac'' of the Canadian Anti-submarine Destroyers Restigouche-Class, ''HMCS Restigouche'' lies at a depth of 64 meters/200 feet but is diveable from 45 meters/135 feet in the area of the bridge. It was planed to create an Artificial Reef in Acapulco for the year 2000, but burocracy and paperwork destroy the proyect and now it is only for few divers. Fortunatelly even with the short time it's been unterwater, we notice that it is covered with sea life such as bernacles, sea fans and small formations of black coral.
