Las Palmas Shallows boasts a coral ridge that rises roughly 2-3 meters above a seabed of sloping sand intermingled with sporadic coral blocks. Although the reef itself is not unique, its features many different forms of marine life, including beautiful fish perfect for macro photography. There is also a huge amount of invertebrates in the area, including brittle stars, arrow crabs and lobster.
