About La Poza

Due to strong currents this site is recommended for intermediate to advanced divers. This site is the most unique geographical formation in the Great Maya Reef. It starts off shallow, then becomes wider and deeper. Lots of pristine coral life. This dive ends at a pinnacle that rises up to 4m below surface, which makes a good safety stop.
