About H-1

The submarine USS H-1 was moving in the early hours of the 12th of March 1920. Because of the Captain prematurely ordering the vessel to turn to starboard, it was rapidly wrecked on the massive breakers. On the 24th of the same month, the vessel was towed away from the beach and sunk quickly. Because of the huge expenses involved in floating this ship to the surface, it was abandoned. Finding this interesting wreck is just one of the great pleasures of diving in the Baja region.
