About Angelita

Angelita is a great dive site for more experienced divers. There is a short walk from the jungle to a 'cenote'. This cenote sinks to depths of 200 feet. The first 100 feet consists of fresh water that has limitless visibility whilst the other 100 feet is salt water separated by a beautiful layer consisting of hydrogen sulfate. You will need dive lights to make it to the bottom, as well as an experienced guide to ensure safety. This is also a great site to train for decompression diving. Snorkeling is also very popular due to the large amount of turtles.
