About Arch

The Cirkewwa Arch, also known as the Right Arch or Green Arch, is a stunning natural underwater archway located in Cirkewwa. This unique formation is the result of a cavern whose roof has collapsed over time, leaving an arch that sits 12 meters below the surface and 8 meters above the seabed. The dive site features a large stride entry point, similar to the nearby Tugboat Rozi wreck, and offers a fairly shallow dive along the wall and reef at around 18-20 meters. The site also boasts several intriguing caves and tunnels that divers can explore on their way to the Arch.

The Arch dive can be combined with the Tugboat Rozi dive for a more comprehensive experience. The reef extends well beyond the Arch, reaching depths of 15-20 meters, and the seabed next to the reef/wall can plunge to over 40 meters. This section of the reef, known as the Reef Beyond Rozi, features numerous small caves and hangouts. There is also a lesser-known arch at the Paradise Bay reef in Cirkewwa, referred to as the Left Arch or White Arch. With a maximum depth of 25 meters, the Cirkewwa Arch is suitable for beginner divers and offers a unique cave and reef diving experience.
