About Anchor Bay Reef

Anchor Bay reef is a diverse dive site located in Anchor Bay, characterized by its large boulders, rocky reefs, and Posidonia sea grass meadows. The boulders, which have fallen from the steep cliffs on either side of the bay, create intriguing swim-throughs and formations, surrounded by a sandy seabed, particularly on the northern side. The maximum depth of the site is 12 meters, making it suitable for beginner divers.

The reef is home to a wide variety of marine life, offering divers a chance to explore and observe the underwater ecosystem. The dive often includes a visit to Anchor Bay’s cave and anchor, ending in the shallow waters of the training area.
