Dive Different Fulidhoo

Felidhu Atoll, Maldives

About

Vaavu Atoll, traditionally known as Felidhe Atoll is the channel diving and fishing capital of Central Maldives. It is also the atoll with the least inhabited islands with just 5. Located just 60 minutes by speedboat and 3 hours by dhoni (ferry) from the Velana International Airport, this is heaven for adrenaline junkies. Of course, the atoll can cater to divers of all levels, but the strong current filled beautiful channels of Vaavu are what makes the atoll so close to the hearts of hardcore divers. From the shark filled channel of "Miyaru Kandu" literally meaning Shark Sea and the beautiful saffron to the purple colored walls of "Lhiththolhu Kandu" (Golden Wall) and the florescent green colored soft coral vines of "Hurahu Kandu" (Fonthteyo", this is a true divers delight.
