About Picnic Beach North

This shallow dive site consists of a gentle slop which starts at a depth of only 3 meters and descends down to a depth of near 18 meters. Despite the site being shallow it is sometimes subject to some strong currents and thus performed as a drift dive and may not be suitable for those inexperienced divers not yet able to cope with currents. Marine life begins at a depth of around 8 meters and becomes more prolific around 15 meters with more fish life as well as more corals, there are numerous beautiful coral formations.
